What does LGA 18xx on Intel LGA 1700 motherboards mean?
We are quite sure about this, most of us thought that our motherboard would also support 18xx sockets, based on the text written on the protection cover on the LGA 1700 socket.

So, there is a 90% probability that the protective cover, which is only found on LGA 1700 socket supported motherboards, is also compatible with LGA 18xx supported motherboards. What we need to understand from this text written on the protective cover is that 15th generation Intel LGA 18xx processors will not be compatible with our motherboard.
